Terms of Use

1. Who we are

“Doodle Save,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to the team operating the Doodle Save mobile app and the websites at doodlesave.co, doodlesave.ca, and doodlesave.in. “You” means the individual using the app or websites.

2. Eligibility (age 18+)

Doodle Save is only available to users who are 18 years of age or older. By creating an account you confirm that you meet that requirement. We collect your date of birth at signup so we can enforce this and ask you to confirm your age. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close the account and delete the associated data.

Doodle Save is currently available to residents of Canada and India. We may add or remove regions over time.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your email and password confidential and for any activity that happens under your account. Notify us at help@doodlesave.co if you suspect unauthorised use. You may only hold one Doodle Save account.

You select your country (Canada or India) when you create your account. This selection is permanent because your data is partitioned by country — subscriptions, flyers, and blog posts are scoped to your country and not visible across regions.

4. What Doodle Save does and doesn’t do

Doodle Save helps you track your subscriptions, remind you before renewals, browse local flyers and community tips, and compare grocery prices across merchants (where supported). Doodle Save does not:

• Charge you for any third-party subscription;
• Process payments on behalf of any merchant;
• Cancel any subscription on your behalf (see section 5);
• Provide financial, legal, or tax advice; or
• Guarantee that any price, offer, or deal shown is currently available at the merchant.

5. Cancelling third-party subscriptions

Doodle Save provides cancellation instructions only. When you tap a cancellation guide, we may show you links, phone numbers, or written steps that the merchant publishes. You must complete cancellation directly with the merchant. Doodle Save does not act as your cancellation agent and cannot cancel a subscription for you. We are not responsible for charges that occur if you fail to complete a cancellation with the merchant before the next billing date.

6. AI-assisted features

Some features in Doodle Save are AI-assisted — for example, grocery price extraction and certain content recommendations. Where you see an “AI-generated” label or an “Estimate” label, the result was produced or assisted by automated systems and may be inaccurate. Verify before acting on it. We do our best to label AI-assisted output clearly; if you spot something that should be labelled and isn’t, please let us know.

7. User content

You can post flyers and blog posts on Doodle Save. By posting, you grant Doodle Save a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute that content within the app and on our websites for the purpose of operating the service. You retain ownership of what you post.

You must have the right to post what you post. Do not upload photos of people who haven’t consented, copyrighted material you don’t have permission to use, or anything that would mislead other users (fake deals, expired flyers presented as current, etc.). All flyers go through admin moderation before publishing.

8. Affiliate links and disclosures

Some links, cards, and recommendations in Doodle Save are affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, Doodle Save may earn a commission from the merchant. This does not change the price you pay. We label affiliate links with an “Affiliate” tag and show a one-time disclosure when you first interact with deal content.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Doodle Save to harass, defraud, or harm other users;
• Post content that is illegal, hateful, sexual, or violent;
• Attempt to access another user’s data, bypass our security controls, or reverse-engineer the app;
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) against the service without our written permission;
• Resell, sublicense, or commercialise data extracted from Doodle Save;
• Misrepresent your age, identity, country, or affiliation.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

10. Intellectual property

The Doodle Save name, logo, app, website, and underlying software are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Doodle Save for non-commercial personal use, subject to these Terms.

11. Privacy

Our handling of your personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. By using Doodle Save you agree to that Policy.

12. Third-party services

Doodle Save links out to third-party merchants and surfaces deals from affiliate networks (such as Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, CueLinks, and Flipp). Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. Doodle Save is not responsible for the actions, content, or pricing of third parties.

13. Fees and paid features

Doodle Save is free to use during early access. We may introduce paid features in the future; if we do, the price, billing cycle, and refund policy will be shown clearly before you pay. Existing free features will not retroactively become paid without notice.

14. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy → Delete my account in the app, or at doodlesave.co/delete-account. Deletion is processed within 30 days. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.

15. Disclaimers

Doodle Save is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific deal, price, cancellation instruction, or recommendation is accurate or currently honored by the merchant. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doodle Save and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of Doodle Save. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to Doodle Save will not exceed the greater of (a) CAD 100 / INR 5,000 or (b) the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited under applicable law.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Doodle Save against any third-party claim that arises from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the service, including reasonable legal costs.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify you in-app and ask you to accept the new version before you continue using Doodle Save. The current version number is shown at the top of this page; older versions are archived on request to help@doodlesave.co.

19. Governing law and disputes

If you reside in Canada: these Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, except where consumer-protection laws of your province of residence give you a non-waivable right to bring the dispute elsewhere.

If you reside in India: these Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, except where consumer-protection laws of your state of residence give you a non-waivable right to bring the dispute elsewhere.

Nothing in this section prevents you from raising a complaint with a competent data-protection or consumer-protection authority.
